The design scope included the integration of a flangeless outer frame and 33mm pitch louver blades all sitting within differing types of welded picture frames which could then be located within either the brickwork reveals or within the curtain walling screens.
Within the louver design for Block K Penthouses, we were asked to incorporate within the design of the louver frames for not only ventilation ducts but also for lighting ducts.
The louvers and picture frames were powder coated and provided in carefully managed and numerous precise phased batches to both comply with the site programme requirements and the minimal amount of storage space available on site.
